Like a lot from Netflix it‘s too many episodes: four would have been enough. It‘s a worthy horror series though; somewhat borrowing the style of David Lynch, which is not bad thing.

It‘s absurd, but at the same time somewhat consistent. In places it felt a little stretched out, but overall a good mix of humour, nonsense and suspense.

The history of champagne is interesting and I didn’t hate the movie; but it never started to fizz and pop. More like a flat wine you could drink if you can’t find anything else in the cellar.

I had seen the cookies from Bear St. Bakery, Zurich on TikTok. Their pistachio white chocolate raspberry cookie was very good, especially as still warm. But it’s pricey at CHF 7.50.

The bonfire at Sechseläutenplatz still needs some work before the burning of the Böög (Zurich’s snowman) on Monday. The guild parades, the horses, and the exploding head are definitely worth a look; if you can’t make it, SRF shows it live. It’s the traditional way to mark the end of winter. The quicker the Böög’s head explodes, the better the summer weather will be.
