Pleasant and uplifting movie, about the Lightning and Thunder Neil Diamond tribute act. Jackman and Hudson both deliver on their characters and I believe this sticks very close to the true story.
Great visuals and a good story. Gosling holds it together very well. I just found it caught between serious sci-fi and humour; which meant it lacked sharpness with the narrative.
Feels like a proper Star Wars story. And a great telling of Imperial over-reach and how the resistance starts to form. This is the first Star Wars TV show I have watched and it’s really good.

It had been a while, but the currywurst at Sternen Grill, Bellevue with the brilliant Buerli is still great. This is an institution and a great casual spot for anything with a bratwurst.

Today Switzerland votes on the 10 Million Switzerland Initiative. The letterbox has been full of leaflets for and against it. In brief the population of Switzerland is currently 9.1 million. If the initiative succeeds the population cannot exceed 10 million by 2050 and if it gets to 9.5 million before, some drastic action must be taken; which would trigger a Swiss Brexit of sorts.
This is a popular initiative - triggered by collecting 100,000 signatures. And if the vote succeeds Switzerland will have to implement it.
We should find out the result later today. It looks very close.
