Wednesday, September 30, 2009Like a lot from Netflix it‘s too many episodes: four would have been enough. It‘s a worthy horror series though; somewhat borrowing the style of David Lynch, which is not bad thing.
It‘s absurd, but at the same time somewhat consistent. In places it felt a little stretched out, but overall a good mix of humour, nonsense and suspense.

The bonfire at Sechseläutenplatz still needs some work before the burning of the Böög (Zurich’s snowman) on Monday. The guild parades, the horses, and the exploding head are definitely worth a look; if you can’t make it, SRF shows it live. It’s the traditional way to mark the end of winter. The quicker the Böög’s head explodes, the better the summer weather will be.
